. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal and external quality standards, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce
quality assurance processes
throughout the production lifecycle.
Conduct
in-process and final product quality checks
to ensure compliance with specifications.
Implement and maintain
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
,
HACCP
, and
ISO standards
.
Maintain and update
SOPs
, quality records, and other documentation as per company and regulatory requirements.
Investigate and report
non-conformities
, deviations, and customer complaints; assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
Coordinate with production, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure
quality consistency
.
Assist in conducting
internal audits
,
vendor audits
, and support external inspections or certifications.
Ensure
raw material
and
packaging material quality checks
as per defined standards.
Provide
training to shop floor staff
on quality practices and hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Food Technology
, Food Science, or related discipline.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control, preferably in the
FMCG food industry
.
Strong knowledge of
food safety regulations
,
FSSAI
,
GMP
,
HACCP
, and
ISO 22000
.
Familiarity with lab testing procedures, instrumentation, and microbiological analysis is a plus.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation systems.
