Examine raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods for defects using blueprints, specs, and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
Monitoring & Reporting:
Observe production processes, operate inspection software, and log data (weights, temps) to report issues to management.
Process Improvement:
Identify root causes of defects, suggest adjustments to production, and help implement better protocols.
Compliance:
Ensure products meet internal quality standards and external legal/industry regulations.
Collaboration:
Work with production teams, train staff, and resolve quality issues.
Closely communicate with the Inspection Coordinators to schedule the inspection assigned.
Implement inspection according to operation guidelines, inspection guidelines, and any special instructions provided by the company.
Complete inspection report with photos and submit it to Technical Manager within the required time limit.
