Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)
Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Selenium, Katalon Studio, and JUnit to design, develop, and execute automated test suites. The ideal candidate will work closely with development, product, and QA teams to ensure high-quality releases in an Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. Build and execute automated test cases in Katalon Studio for web and API testing. Develop unit and integration test suites using JUnit. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and identify automation opportunities. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Analyze test results, identify defects, and verify fixes. Maintain test documentation, test data, and reusable automation frameworks. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver for web automation. Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio (web, API, and mobile test automation). Proficiency with JUnit for writing and maintaining automated test cases. Solid understanding of Java (or Groovy if working with Katalon). Experience with object-oriented programming and automation frameworks (POM, BDD, Hybrid). Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git). Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.). Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications (Optional) Experience with TestNG, Cucumber, or similar tools. Exposure to API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Katalon API. Knowledge of cloud-based test platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Familiarity with mobile automation (Appium). Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented and quality-focused mindset
