Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reading the engineering drawings and constrain the drawings as per GD&T Review the drawing and ensure error-free engineering drawing with respect to

manufacturability

Ensure the methodology and quality of each drawing is met as per the client standards Train the Engineers on Quality Standards Performing other related duties as assigned or requested Identifying improvement areas and suggest to Management Study existing processes and propose optimum solutions Initiate Continual Improvement activities within teams and at facility level

Experience

8 years relevant Experience should be a combination of Manufacturing and Design engineering Should have prior experience in reviewing drawings/drawing quality checking Experience to be in the range of 1-5 years, preferably in Aerospace interiors

Qualification

:

M. Tech / B. Tech in Aeronautical / Mechanical/ Automobile/ Industrial engineering

Technical Competencies

Good understanding of Engineering Change Control process and ECR/ECO Excellent skills in checking engineering drawings developed through CAD software Well versed with ASME Y14.5-2009 Dimensioning and Tolerance Standards Good knowledge about machining process Good understanding of sheet metal design and various fabrication methods Knowledge and understanding of component and assembly design practices Familiarity with Catia Software
