Job Title: Quality Engineer

Reports to: Plant Head / Manager

Location: Valsad & Ahmedabad (Gujarat).

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in the insulation packaging material manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products, implementing quality control processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and procurement, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

4. Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

5. Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and provide insights for improvement.

6. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

7. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

2. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or a related field, preferably in the insulation packaging material manufacturing industry.

3. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

5. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

1. Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA).

2. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools.

3. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., ASTM, UL).
