Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect and ensure quality of paint cans at each stage - body formation, seaming, printing, and final packing Check dimensional accuracy, leak testing, welding quality, and seaming strength of cans Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain proper documentation Implement and monitor quality standards as per industry norms Handle customer complaints, rejections, and perform root cause analysis Work closely with production and maintenance teams to reduce defects Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene in handling paint packaging material Prepare daily quality reports and assist in internal/external audits

Skills Required:

Knowledge of tin/metal sheet inspection and can-body manufacturing process Familiar with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Leak Testing Machine Understanding of 7QC tools, 5S, and basic quality control charts Basic understanding of inks/printing quality on metal cans Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
