Qualification:

Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Basic understanding of quality processes, mechanical drawings, and sheet metal components

Experience:

Fresher

(01 year)

Experienced

(1-2 years) in sheet metal industry preferred

Job Responsibilities:

For Fresher / Trainee:

Assist in daily quality inspection of sheet metal components Support senior engineers in conducting

in-process and final inspection

Learn and follow

quality standards, SOPs, and inspection checklists

Maintain inspection reports and documentation Support in handling

measurement instruments

like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc. Coordinate with production team for quality-related issues Report defects, rework, and deviations to Quality Engineer/Supervisor

For Experienced (1-2 Years):

Perform

independent in-process and final inspections

of sheet metal parts Conduct

root cause analysis (RCA)

and assist in implementing corrective actions Maintain and analyze

quality data

(rejection, rework, inspection logs) Handle customer complaints and prepare internal quality reports Knowledge of

7 QC tools

, PPAP, Control Plan (added advantage) Ensure compliance with

ISO/TS standards

(if applicable) Guide trainees and help improve overall quality processes

Skills Required:

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes Understanding of basic engineering drawings Familiarity with measuring instruments Good communication and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, documentation)

Salary:

Freshers:

?10,000 - ?15,000 (as per interview & skills)

Experienced (1-2 years):

?15,000 - ?20,000 (as per interview & expertise)
