: Quality Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for ensuring product quality in VMC machining and fabrication processes through inspection, process control, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and ensure quality of machined and fabricated parts as per drawings and specifications Perform

first article inspection (FAI)

, in-process, and final inspections Use measuring instruments:

Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, CMM

Interpret

engineering drawings, GD&T

, and customer specifications Implement and maintain

QMS (ISO 9001)

requirements Analyze defects and conduct

root cause analysis (RCA)

using

5 Why, Fishbone

Support

PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, PFMEA

(if automotive-related) Coordinate with production, CNC/VMC operators, and fabrication teams Handle customer complaints, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Drive continuous improvement to reduce rejection and rework
Required Skills

Strong knowledge of

VMC machining & fabrication processes

Good understanding of

tolerances, surface finish, and material properties

Experience with

inspection reports and quality documentation

Familiarity with

SPC, MSA

(preferred) Problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering 2-5 years experience in

VMC production or fabrication quality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
