Job Description

Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all sheet metal fabricated parts and assemblies meet company and customer quality standards. This role involves performing inspections at various stages of production, identifying non-conformances, maintaining inspection records, and supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

incoming, in-process, and final inspections

of sheet metal parts and assemblies. Verify that fabricated components meet

engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances

using precision measuring instruments. Conduct

visual and dimensional inspections

using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), as applicable.

Record inspection results

accurately and maintain detailed quality documentation. Identify, document, and report

non-conforming materials

or processes; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Work closely with

production, engineering, and quality teams

to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements. Participate in

first article inspections (FAI)

and process audits. Ensure adherence to

ISO 9001

or other relevant quality management system standards. Promote a

culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement

across the shop floor.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
