A highly motivated, detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 1-2 years of experience is needed to join the team. The successful candidate will ensure the quality of manufactured parts by performing meticulous inspections with precision measuring instruments. This person will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and supporting the NPD team.
Key responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of in-process, and finished parts to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Utilize and maintain precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other specialized tools to perform dimensional inspections.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and precise measurements.
Identify and document deviations, defects, and non-conformities during inspections, adhering to established reporting procedures.
Collaborate with engineering team to investigate and resolve quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Assist in the development, implementation, and improvement of inspection procedures and quality control plans.
Ensure that all inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to company policies and industry standards.
Contribute to a positive and proactive quality culture, promoting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
1-2 years of experience in quality control, quality inspection, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or mechanical industries.
Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in standard office software applications.
