Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance processes within a manufacturing environment. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner. Analyze data and generate reports to track key quality metrics such as defect rates, scrap rates, and rework costs. Conduct root cause analysis investigations to determine the underlying causes of quality issues and develop effective solutions. Participate in supplier quality management activities, including supplier audits and evaluations. Provide training and support to production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools. Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically. Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision. Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is preferred. Certification as a Quality Engineer (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer) is a plus.
