Job Description

• Reviewing project / contracts / engineering requirement of products and preparing quality assurance plans for incoming, in-process and final inspection stages.

• Working together with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to carry out feasibility studies, take initiatives for continual improvement of process performance and the quality of products.

• Carrying out inspections to confirm fulfillment of product quality requirements. Planning of inspection resources and coordinating with third-party inspection agencies as and when required.

• Preparing and reviewing inspection reports, product quality documentation, maintaining quality dossiers for product packages and maintaining the project documentation database.

• Identifying product and process non-conformances, ensuring their timely resolution by coordinating with concerned stakeholders, driving root cause analysis and ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintaining the database of lessons learned from inspections and non-conformances, providing awareness to teams through knowledge sharing sessions.

• Interfacing with customers, handling witness inspections, resolving customer queries and providing technical assistance to customers as and when required.

• Interacting with engineering team to optimize technical specifications by implementing learnings from inspections and process monitoring.

• Supporting sourcing team in selection of suppliers, and conducting performance evaluation of suppliers.

• Providing assistance to execution teams at sites for quality related deliverables and supporting for timely resolution of any quality issues detected at sites.

• Maintaining process documentation as per ISO 9001, carrying out internal audits, preparation of audit reports and reporting of results to top management.

• Ensuring all compliances related quality management system through effective coordination with cross-functions and maintaining of documents and records.
