Job Title: Quality Engineer - Solar Cell Manufacturing
Job Summary
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that solar cell manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability. This role involves implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes to ensure solar cells meet required standards and specifications.
2. Process Improvement
- Identify areas for improvement within the production process and recommend corrective measures to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
3. Testing & Inspection
- Conduct routine testing and inspection of solar cells and materials to verify compliance with technical requirements.
4. Root Cause Analysis
- Investigate defects, failures, and non-conformities.Perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with production, R&D, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
6. Documentation
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, including inspection results, audits, and corrective actions.
7. Training & Development
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior quality engineers, technicians, and production staff to enhance overall quality awareness.
8. Compliance -
Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific quality guidelines.
9. Continuous Monitoring
- Monitor production processes and implement quality improvements to maintain high product consistency and performance.
10. Reporting
- Generate and present regular reports on key quality metrics, defect trends, audit findings, and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Engineering degree (Mechanical/Electrical/Materials).
Knowledge of QC tools and manufacturing processes.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
