We are seeking a highly organized and experienced

Quality Engineer

to oversee site activities for

construction

. The candidate will be responsible to Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, conduct audits, lead root cause analysis, and mentor teams in high-rise building construction. Monitor compliance with quality standards, perform inspections, review materials, issue non-compliance reports, and maintain documentation in construction projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of construction activities, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards with precision. Perform detailed material inspections, verifying compliance with quality standards and project requirements to guarantee the integrity of the build. Prepare and maintain comprehensive quality control documentation, including inspection reports, and punch lists, for accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly, minimizing delays and ensuring project success. Monitor and assess the performance of subcontractors, providing feedback and guidance to enhance quality and workmanship. Review and approve contractor submittals, shop drawings, and method statements, ensuring alignment with project requirements. Conduct regular site audits and surveillance to proactively identify potential quality issues and ensure compliance. Implement and maintain the project's quality management system, promoting a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in project meetings, providing updates on quality-related matters and contributing to effective communication. Manage and control non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications & Skills:

B.TECH / B.E. in civil Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, with exposure to construction industry. Proven experience in inspecting concrete works, including formwork, reinforcement, and concrete pouring to ensure structural integrity. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents for accurate assessments. Strong understanding of construction materials and their properties, enabling effective quality control measures. In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ISO to ensure compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring project adherence to the highest standards. Possess certifications related to construction quality control for credibility. Familiarity with quality control software and tools for efficient documentation and reporting to improve productivity..
