Job Description

Inspection and Testing:

Perform rigorous tests on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g., visual checks, dimensional measurements, non-destructive testing). Compare test results against established specifications, blueprints, and quality benchmarks.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create, maintain, and manage comprehensive quality inspection records, test data, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Document the entire quality control process for auditing purposes and regulatory compliance.

Non-Conformance Management:

Identify, isolate, and document non-conforming materials or products. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to determine the root cause of defects and implement immediate corrective actions.

Process Improvement:

Recommend adjustments to the assembly or manufacturing process to improve overall product quality and reduce defects and waste. Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for QC testing and inspection.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure that all testing and measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accuracy of measurements.
