Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor

quality control systems

in the sheet metal manufacturing process. Conduct

in-process inspections

,

final product inspections

, and ensure all products meet MODURA's standards. Identify and report

non-conformities

, and work closely with the production team to resolve issues. Maintain and update

quality documentation

, reports, and checklists. Perform

root cause analysis (RCA)

and initiate

corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

. Collaborate with the

design, fabrication, and finishing teams

to ensure product specifications are consistently met. Use tools like

vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges

, etc., to inspect sheet metal parts. Assist in the

implementation of ISO or other quality standards

if applicable. Support

continuous improvement initiatives

and suggest process enhancements. Learn and adapt to new technologies, machinery, and quality protocols as needed.

Candidate Requirements:

Diploma/Degree

in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or a related field.

1-2 years

of hands-on experience in

quality assurance/control

in the

sheet metal or metal furniture industry

. Knowledge of

sheet metal fabrication processes

(cutting, bending, welding, powder coating, etc.). Basic understanding of

technical drawings and GD&T

. Familiarity with

quality tools and inspection instruments

. Good

communication skills

and ability to work collaboratively across departments. Positive attitude,

eagerness to learn

, and attention to detail.
