Job Description

A quality engineer ensures products and processes consistently meet company and industry standards by designing, implementing, and monitoring quality control systems, conducting tests, and identifying and resolving issues to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include developing quality metrics and procedures, performing inspections and audits, analyzing data to find root causes of problems, reporting on quality levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate quality into every stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Quality Control:
Design, establish, and refine quality management systems (QMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure product and process consistency.
Monitor and Test Products/Processes:
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and final products to verify they meet specifications and standards.
Identify and Resolve Issues:
Pinpoint malfunctions, defects, or inefficiencies within products and production processes, then collaborate with teams to find and implement effective solutions.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and document data related to quality metrics, product complaints, and process performance to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that all products and processes adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Continuous Improvement:
Proactively drive initiatives to improve process efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance overall product quality and reliability.
Training and Collaboration:
Train other team members on quality procedures and tools, and work closely with various departments (e.g., manufacturing, development) to build quality into every phase.
Required Skills
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify root causes of problems, and develop practical solutions.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in quality control systems, testing methodologies, and relevant computer software, such as Microsoft Office. Good knowledge of line infection, 5s,Poka - Yoka ,7QC,Dimensions knowledge, Micro,Vernier, Guage & Height.
Detail-Oriented:
A keen eye for detail to spot defects and inconsistencies in products and processes.
Communication Skills:
Ability to clearly document issues, report findings, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Typical Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is often required.
Some roles may prefer or require a master's degree.
A successful track record in quality engineering or a related field is often valued by employers.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
