Job Description

Department: Quality Control / Quality Assurance

Reporting To: Quality Manager / Production Head

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished appliances to ensure compliance with company and BIS standards.

2. Test components such as motors, elements, thermostats, PCBs, switches, and cords for performance and safety.

3. Monitor assembly line processes to ensure consistent product quality.

4. Record and report non-conformities, and coordinate with production and suppliers for corrective action.

5. Maintain quality documentation--inspection reports, test records, and calibration logs.

6. Ensure that each batch meets the company's performance, safety, and aesthetic standards before dispatch.

7. Assist in developing quality checklists, SOPs, and testing procedures.

8. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure preventive actions are implemented.

9. Support ISO/BIS audits and ensure compliance with statutory norms.

10. Train workers on quality parameters, testing tools, and safe handling practices.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of home appliance testing standards (ISI/BIS). Experience in handling testing instruments like multimeters, load testers, insulation testers, and temperature gauges. Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and Quality Control tools (RCA, CAPA, etc.). Good communication and team coordination ability.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.Tech / B.Sc in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in Quality Control or QA in home appliances or consumer electronics manufacturing would be Prefer.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
