Job Summary:

The Granicus Quality Engineer contributes to the overall quality of multiple software platforms, executing on quality initiatives throughout the entire testing lifecycle. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, test case creation, manual testing, defect analysis, status reporting, and generating metrics as required. Experience with automated testing is strongly preferred. Granicus releases new features and functionality frequently, and the QE team is on the cutting edge of everything we do. What Your Impact Will Look Like:
Design and execute manual test cases for new product development and enhancement Design and implement test strategies for validating dashboards, charts, and data visualizations. Perform end-to-end testing of visual components built using tools like Highcharts, Novo, and other BI tools. Exposure to designing of automation framework Understanding of Integrating automation suite with CI/CD pipeline to facilitate continuous testing and deployment process Experience in any of the tool such as Selenium/Cypress/CodeceptJS etc with programming languages such as Java/JavaScript/TypeScript etc Strong experience in testing RESTful APIs and API automation Knowledge of SQL Identify areas of risk and mitigate those areas to ensure stable releases Ensure quality criteria is met for all areas before product release Debug and triage failures, escalating issues as warranted. Leverage or explore AI-driven tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

You Will Love This Job If You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field; or software test related experience/knowledge 5 - 8 years of software testing experience, or equivalent, in a professional software development environment 5+ years of experience testing web-based applications, with a focus on data analytics and visualization. 3+ years of experience in test automation Experience with exploratory/edge/corner testing techniques and risk-based testing Strong attention to detail Ability to multitask, prioritize, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience executing automated test scripts Familiarity working within an agile software development process Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience in a SaaS environment Experience with accessibility testing is an added advantage. Prior experience in using AI to enhance testing processes is a plus.
