: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing and automation skillsets, with expertise in web and API testing. This role requires proficiency in automation tools, programming languages, and database testing, with a preference for candidates who have knowledge of the mortgage domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing using Playwright. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure the quality of software deliverables. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Conduct basic database testing to validate data integrity and consistency. Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in testing and automation.

Required Skillsets:

Strong testing skillsets with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail. Proficiency in automation testing for web and API applications. Hands-on experience with Playwright as an automation testing tool. Solid programming skills in Java for developing and maintaining test scripts. Basic knowledge of database testing, including writing and executing SQL queries. Basic knowledge of designing JSONs

Preferred Skillsets:

Familiarity with the mortgage domain and related business processes.
