Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled

Quality Engineer

to oversee and ensure the quality of our

Pre-Engineered Building (PEB)

fabrication and erection processes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, familiar with industry standards, and capable of implementing effective quality control measures.

Roles & Responsibilities

Inspection & Quality Control

Conduct inspection of raw materials, consumables, and fabricated components. Check weld quality, dimensions, and alignment as per approved drawings. Monitor finishing and painting quality before dispatch.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), and test certificates. Update QA/QC logs and ensure proper record-keeping for audits. Assist in preparing quality manuals, SOPs, and work instructions.

Standards Compliance

Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and standards. Support ISO 9001 and other quality management system requirements. Verify adherence to client and project quality plans.

Coordination & Communication

Collaborate with production, design, and erection teams to resolve quality issues. Liaise with clients and third-party inspectors during inspections. Provide feedback to production for corrective & preventive actions.

Continuous Improvement & Safety

Identify recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements. Promote quality awareness among team members through training. Ensure safety compliance during inspection and testing activities.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 2+ years of QA/QC experience in PEB or structural steel fabrication. Knowledge of welding inspection, NDT methods, and fabrication standards. Familiarity with ISO quality systems and documentation procedures. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage.

Pay: ?10,346.85 - ?35,840.47 per month
