. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in QA/QC processes related to structural steel or Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) fabrication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - PLANT QUALITY CONTROL
? 1. Incoming Material Inspection
Inspect raw materials (plates, coils, sections, bolts, welding rods, etc.) as per standards/specs.
Verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and ensure traceability.
Highlight and document non-conforming materials.
? 2. In-Process Quality Control
Monitor all fabrication stages: cutting, drilling, welding, bending, shot blasting, painting.
Ensure compliance with WPS/PQR and qualified welder deployment.
Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at each stage.
Perform NDT (if required) and supervise third-party testing.
? 3. Final Product & Dispatch Inspection
Conduct final QC checks for weld quality, dimensions, surface prep, and DFT (Dry Film Thickness).
Ensure proper tagging, bundling, and material readiness for dispatch.
Inspect loading practices to prevent transit damage.
Prepare final clearance reports.
? 4. Quality Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily inspection reports, weld logs, calibration certificates, and paint reports.
Document NCRs and coordinate for CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Support client audits, inspections, and ISO documentation.
? 5. Quality Assurance & Improvement
Identify quality gaps and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with IS/ASTM codes and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Train shop-floor teams on fabrication quality standards and best practices.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Experience: 2-10 years in QA/QC for PEB or structural steel fabrication
Knowledge: WPS/PQR, NDT, QAP, IS codes, fabrication drawings, DFT, and welding standards
Location Preference: Candidates from Bahadurgarh / Rohad / Jhajjar or nearby will be preferred
