Job Description

As a quality assurance engineer you are required to develop and implement quality plans and procedure for manufacturing , also should be aware about all the quality standards. Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues and prevent their recurrence.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Develop and implement quality plans and procedures for New Product Introduction /Manufacturing. Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and address non-conformities and deviations from quality standards. Create comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were taken. Maintain detailed records of inspection and test results. Prepare and update quality documentation, including inspection reports and quality manuals as per PRAVAIG standard/ISO standards. Recommend and implement changes to improve product quality and reduce defects. Work closely with design and engineering teams to understand product specifications and requirements. Collaborate with NPI/ production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Provide training to NPI/production and quality control staff on quality procedures and standards. Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations/as per drawing specifications. Read blueprints/Engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products Evaluate and monitor the quality of materials and components supplied by external vendors. Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified issues and prevent their recurrence. Provide support during customer audits and inspections. Technical Skills required: ISO 9001:2015 -QMS, Engineering Drawing, 7 QC tools, SPC & SQC, 8D, Metrology and Measurement Techniques, Coordinate measuring machines (CMM), Root Cause Analysis, PPAP, APQP, Internal Audit, NDT (VT, PT, MT, UT).

Desired Qualifications: Required Qualification, Knowledge, and Experience:

BE /Diploma Mechanical Engineering/Automobile/Production/Industrial or a related field is commonly required. Some roles may accept relevant certifications or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 04 - 07 years

Pay: ₹25,600.00 - ₹31,500.00 per month
