Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Quality Engineer

to join our team. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products and processes meet established quality standards and customer expectations. This role will involve quality planning, process audits, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Perform internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 9001 or relevant quality standards. Review engineering and manufacturing specifications to ensure quality requirements are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, supply chain) to improve product quality. Maintain quality metrics and generate reports on product defects, rework, and non-conformities. Support new product development by participating in design and process FMEAs. Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution. Provide training to team members on quality tools and procedures. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure incoming materials meet specifications.

Qualifications:

Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or IATF 16949 (industry-specific). Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Control Plans. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality inspection methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
