Job Description

Position: Quality Engineer Experience: 4 to 8 years Functional Area: Quality Assurance Location: Noida Will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical cloud-based data aggregation, analytics and reporting product aimed at financial institutions. Roles and responsibilities include:

• product Functional Analyst who can analyse market requirements and product artifices for development.
• Ensure product quality utilizing innovative test technologies and develop a product\'s testing strategies.

Primary Skills (mandatory):

• 4-8 years of professional working experience as Quality Engineer or Automation Tester or SDET

(Software Development Engineer in Test) in financial domain preferably in reconciliations, data analytics.

• Good analytical, testing and automation skills with ability to understand and question requirements, connect the dots, create top quality test cases and automate them using frameworks/tools like Gherkins-Cucumber (BDD), Selenium, Rest Assured, Java, Shell Script, Python etc.
• Must have experience on BDD (Gherkins-Cucumber) framework in writing step definitions (Java) and not just feature files.
• Knowledge of APIs test automation using frameworks or tools like Postman
• Practical experience of using Project, Test and Defect Management tools e.g. JIRA, Test Link, QC etc.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Unix.
• Energetic team player with positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Exposure to working in Agile methodology (Scrum) based projects.

Secondary Skills (desirable)

• Writing automation code in Java Script or Python
• Working experience on CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CodeBuild.
• Knowledge of DevOps process, AWS and Docker
• Exposure to working/testing with MQs.
• Experience in working with Intellimatch, TLM , Frontier, Duco, Gresham or similar products will be an added advantage.
