Role Summary

The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring

product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement

across plastic manufacturing operations. The role involves

incoming, in-process, and final inspection

, customer quality support, and coordination with production and R&D teams to meet global quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Control & Inspection

Conduct

incoming raw material inspection

, in-process inspection, and

final product inspection

as per quality plans Ensure compliance with

customer drawings, specifications, and internal standards

Monitor

critical quality parameters

during manufacturing processes Approve or reject products based on inspection results
2. Testing & Measurement

Perform testing of plastic products using appropriate

measuring instruments

such as: Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, profile projector CMM (preferred) Conduct

mechanical, dimensional, and visual inspections

Maintain calibration and proper usage of measuring instruments
3. Quality Systems & Documentation

Implement and maintain

ISO 9001 / IATF / EMS-related quality systems

(as applicable) Prepare and maintain: Inspection reports Control plans SOPs and work instructions First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Ensure documentation compliance and traceability
4. Process Control & Improvement

Monitor process capability (

Cp / Cpk

) and take corrective actions Support

root cause analysis

for internal rejections and customer complaints using: 8D 5 Why Fishbone analysis Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (

CAPA

)
5. Customer & Supplier Quality

Handle

customer complaints

and ensure timely closure with corrective actions Support customer audits and quality reviews Coordinate with suppliers for

supplier quality assurance

and improvement
6. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with

Production, Engineering, R&D, and Maintenance

teams Support new product development and

trial approvals

Assist in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
Desired Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

plastic processing methods

(Injection Molding, Extrusion, Blow Molding, etc.) Understanding of

industrial plastic materials and polymers

Hands-on experience in

quality tools and problem-solving techniques

Familiarity with

German MNC quality culture and systems

(preferred) Good communication skills and documentation capability
Preferred Experience

Experience in

industrial plastic products

or polymer-based manufacturing Exposure to

export-oriented manufacturing

Experience working with

global customers

and standards
