Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) according to industry standards and procedures (e.g., Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), or Dye Penetrant Testing (PT)).

Monitor and inspect all stages of the fabrication process, including welding, machining, and assembly, to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Prepare and submit detailed quality-related documentation to customers, including inspection reports, certifications, test results, and compliance statements.

Ensure that all products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct root cause analysis of any quality issues, and implement corrective actions to improve product quality.

Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.

Provide technical support to production staff regarding NDT techniques and quality processes.

Maintain accurate records of NDT inspections and quality reports for both internal and customer-facing purposes.

Stay current on advancements in NDT methods, industry regulations, and best practices to continually improve our quality processes.

Qualifications:

NDT Level 2 Certification in one or more of the following methods: Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), or Dye Penetrant Testing (PT).

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).

1-3 years of experience in quality control/assurance in manufacturing, with a focus on fabrication processes such as welding, machining, and metal forming.

Proven experience in preparing quality-related documents, including inspection reports, certification documents, and test results for customer submission.

Strong knowledge of NDT methods and their applications in fabrication and welding.

Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM) and related industry standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle quality-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
