The Quality Engineer is responsible for monitoring product quality, implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing plant. The role ensures that all products meet the required specifications and quality norms.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured products.
Monitor and maintain quality standards across the production line.
Record, analyze, and report quality issues and defects.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and operations teams for corrective actions.
Implement quality tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), etc.
Prepare daily quality reports and documentation.
Assist in audits (internal/external) and compliance requirements.
Work on process improvement to reduce rejection and rework.
Qualifications
Diploma / B.Tech / ITI - Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or any technical field.
Experience: Minimum 6 months-1 year in Quality (preferred).
Freshers with technical background can also apply.
