BIKE IS COMPULSORY for field visits (candidates without a bike will not be considered).

Job Summary:

Ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards by conducting inspections, tests, and audits. Identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with production teams to maintain high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications. Perform dimensional checks using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.). Review and interpret technical drawings, quality standards, and specifications. Monitor manufacturing processes to identify deviations and recommend corrective actions. Document inspection results and maintain quality records. Prepare and submit daily/weekly quality reports to management. Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and company SOPs. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and design teams for quality improvements. Liaise with external vendors/customers for quality audits or issue resolution. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and rework. Train operators and staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.

Qualifications:

Education:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering OR ITI (Quality/Mechanical-related trades).

Experience:

2-4 years in quality assurance/inspection in manufacturing or engineering industry.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of quality tools and techniques. Hands-on experience with measuring instruments & inspection methods. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Basic knowledge of ISO standards, quality documentation, and reporting. Proficient in MS Office/Basic computer skills.

Attributes:

Detail-oriented and accurate. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently under pressure.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing/field environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. May require working late evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on project demands.
