Experience Required:



Minimum

4-5 years

of hands-on experience in

Quality Control

within the

process equipment manufacturing industry

(e.g., Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Distillation Columns, Tanks, etc.)

Mandatory Qualifications:



NDT Level II Certification

- VT, UT, PT, RT Working knowledge of

ISO 9001:2015

Quality Management Systems Familiarity with

ISO 3834-1

welding qualifications and standards

Key Responsibilities:



Perform and manage quality inspections for process equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Tanks, Evaporators, Agitators, Columns, and Piping Systems. Conduct and interpret results of

NDT tests

including Dye Penetrant (PT), Ultrasonic (UT), X-ray (RT), and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT). Ensure compliance with

ASME Codes

- Section II (Materials), V (NDE), VIII (Pressure Vessels), IX (Welding), and

EN ISO standards

including

ISO 3834-2

for European clients. Inspect and verify weld quality for processes including Argon, Arc, and CO? welding. Supervise and conduct dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs for fabricated parts made through Rolling, Bending, Pressing, Laser Cutting, and Profile Cutting. Review and validate

Material Test Certificates (MTCs)

, inspection reports, and other quality documentation for traceability. Coordinate with the production team to address and resolve quality issues during various manufacturing stages, including machining (Lathe, Milling, Drilling, M1TR, etc.). Prepare and implement

Quality Control Plans

, inspection checklists, and test procedures aligned with project specifications. Conduct

Root Cause Analysis

for any non-conformities and suggest

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)

. Train production and QC personnel on quality standards, NDT techniques, and safety protocols. Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports for internal audits and customer submissions. Interface with

Third-Party Inspectors

, clients, and certification agencies for audits and approvals.

Key Skills & Competencies:



In-depth knowledge of fabrication techniques and welding processes Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, weld symbols, and GD&T Hands-on experience with NDT tools, precision measuring instruments, and quality inspection procedures Strong analytical and documentation skills Ability to ensure compliance with both international and client-specific standards
