Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Inspect materials, workmanship, and processes at every stage of the project.
Ensure concrete mix design, steel placement, formwork, and finishing are done as per specifications.
Testing & Inspection:
Conduct or coordinate field and lab tests for materials like concrete, soil, steel, and aggregates.
Check slump tests, compaction tests, cube strength tests, etc.
Ensure testing frequency aligns with codes like IS, ASTM, or project-specific standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare and maintain quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports.
Maintain inspection checklists, test reports, and site records.
Track non-conformances and corrective actions (NCRs/CARs).
Compliance:
Ensure work aligns with engineering drawings, BOQs, and local codes (like IS Codes, BIS, ACI, etc.).
Prepare for and support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies or clients.
