Job Summary:

We are looking for a

Quality Surveyor

to assist in managing project costs and contracts for infrastructure development projects. The ideal candidate will support the commercial and site teams in cost estimation, measurement of works, billing, and documentation, ensuring cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing and reviewing

Bill of Quantities (BOQs)

based on drawings and specifications. Support in

cost estimation and budgeting

for ongoing and upcoming projects. Track material and labor costs and maintain updated cost databases. Take

quantities from drawings

and assist in rate analysis for various items of work. Assist in preparing

interim payment certificates, RA bills

, and subcontractor bills. Support in

contract administration

, including maintaining records of variations, claims, and change orders. Coordinate with site teams for

measurement verification

and documentation. Help in preparing

tender documents

, technical comparisons, and evaluation of vendor quotes. Maintain accurate records of project cost, timelines, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with contract terms, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

or

Quality Surveying

. 0-2 years of experience in Quality surveying or cost management in infrastructure, civil, or construction projects. Fresh graduates with internship experience in QS roles will be considered. Basic understanding of estimation, rate analysis, and construction methodologies.

Key Skills:

Quality take-off and measurement Rate analysis and estimation Basic knowledge of contract administration MS Excel, AutoCAD, and familiarity with QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX) Attention to detail and numerical accuracy Good communication and documentation skills Teamwork and eagerness to learn on-site processes
