Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the software testing field. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual testing skills, a foundational understanding of automation tools, and the willingness to expand their automation expertise. This role requires the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with engineering teams, and adapt to evolving AI-driven projects and tools.
Key Responsibilities


Manual Testing & Documentation + Execute comprehensive test cases based on acceptance criteria to identify bugs and ensure software quality.
+ Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing across various projects and environments.
+ Demonstrate expertise in functional, non-functional, usability, and performance testing.
+ Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

Automation Support & Learning
+ basic automation skills using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks when required. + Collaborate with the team to integrate automation into testing workflows.
+ Show initiative in learning and expanding automation knowledge, adapting to new tools and methodologies.
+ Explore and adapt to AI-driven testing tools and projects, contributing to innovation in quality engineering.
Analytical Skills and Decision Making + Critically analyze acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify potential gaps.
+ Make independent decisions regarding testing priorities and strategies.
Client Interaction & Collaboration + Handle client communications effectively, providing clear updates on testing processes.
+ Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to clarify objectives and provide feedback on potential issues.
Proactiveness & Professionalism + Suggest process improvements and explore new tools or methodologies.
+ Uphold professionalism in all interactions and deliverables, especially under pressure.
Prioritization and Time Management + Manage multiple testing assignments with minimal supervision.
Out-of-the-Box Thinking + Employ creative problem-solving techniques to identify edge cases and innovative testing approaches.
Test Management Tools + Utilize test management and bug tracking tools effectively (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing. Strong understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Preferred Skills


Basic experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). Willingness to initiate learning and expand automation expertise. Familiarity with API testing and general programming/scripting concepts. * Interest in adapting to AI-powered testing tools and projects.
