Job Description

We are hiring a Quality Engineer with a strong foundation in manual and automation testing to help ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable test frameworks, identifying critical issues early, and driving quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and manual test suites Develop functional, regression, and end-to-end automation scripts from defined test cases Identify, log, and manage defects through resolution, ensuring traceability and documentation Configure testing and monitoring tools to align with evolving project requirements Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members for timely, high-quality releases Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and documentation Maintain clear and accurate records of test cases, test results, and defect logs

Requirements

3+ years of overall QA experience, with 2+ years in test automation Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, including test case design, defect lifecycle, and reporting Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured, or similar automation tools Proficient in Java or Python for writing automated test scripts Experience with API testing, unit testing, and end-to-end testing Good understanding of SQL databases (MSSQL, IBM Db2, MariaDB, SAP ASE/Sybase) Exposure to ETL/data validation testing (preferred) Experience with test management tools like qTest, TestRail, or equivalents Excellent communication and documentation skills
