Job Purpose:

To support the quality department in day-to-day inspections, documentation, and quality improvement activities while gaining hands-on experience in quality systems, tools, and shop-floor practices.

Key Responsibilities during Probation:

Inspection & Quality Support

Assist in conducting

incoming

,

in-process

, and

final inspection

of components. Learn to operate and handle basic

measuring instruments

such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. Shadow senior inspectors on

CMM operations

and dimensional checks.

Documentation & Reporting

Help in maintaining quality records, inspection logs, and checklists. Support in preparing basic quality documentation like

inspection reports

,

rejection reports

, and

tagging non-conformities

. Learn and assist in

ISO 9001 / IATF 16949

document requirements such as Control Plans, PPAP, and FMEA.

Learning & Development

Undergo training on

GD&T, Quality Tools (7 QC Tools), 5S, and Root Cause Analysis

- Participate in basic

problem-solving

and quality improvement activities on the shop floor. Understand process flow and interact with cross-functional teams for better learning.

Educational Background:

B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Automobile Engineering

Skills & Attributes:

Willingness to learn and grow in the Quality function Basic understanding of engineering drawings and measurements (preferred) Auto cad must be known . Good communication skills (written and verbal) Positive attitude, discipline, and eagerness to take initiative
