Role Overview:

The Quality Engineer at

SE Techno Hub

plays a critical role in ensuring that all products, materials, and processes meet defined quality standards. The role involves inspection, documentation, compliance checks, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain customer satisfaction and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process and final inspections for fabricated structures, tanks, pressure vessels, ducting, and pipeline works. Ensure adherence to quality procedures, specifications, and drawings at all stages of production and erection. Maintain and update Quality Control documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and test reports. Coordinate with the Design Department for drawing approvals and updates. Verify and maintain records of third-party and internal test certificates for raw materials and welding consumables. Monitor welding activities and conduct visual inspections of joints and fittings. Participate in internal and external audits as per ISO/ASME/Client standards. Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues. Support the project team in preparing handover documentation and quality dossiers. Work closely with the site supervisor and project coordinator for quality compliance at the site.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures and fabrication standards (ASME, IS codes, etc.). Proficient in using measuring instruments and tools (Vernier, Micro Meter, etc.). Good understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, etc.). Familiarity with documentation standards - ITPs, WPS, PQR, NDT reports. Strong analytical and communication skills. Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD (preferred), and QMS documentation.

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1-4 years of experience in QA/QC in fabrication or manufacturing industries. Certification in NDT Level II (preferred).
