will be responsible for monitoring and controlling quality processes in fabrication, welding, and assembly operations. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want to build expertise in fabrication quality assurance and compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
for fabrication projects in line with ISO/API/ASME standards.
Conduct inspections of fabricated components, weld joints, and assemblies to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Monitor welding procedures, welder qualifications, and consumable control.
Support and coordinate
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
activities such as radiography, ultrasonic, and dye penetrant testing.
Verify material certificates, dimensional checks, and fabrication records.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records.
Collaborate with fabrication shop teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
B.Tech in Mechanical, Production & related engineering discipline.
0-2 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in fabrication, oil & gas, or heavy engineering industries.
Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW), WPS/PQR, and welder qualification standards.
Familiarity with fabrication codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, ISO).
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Skills & Competencies
Understanding of fabrication and welding quality assurance practices.
Exposure to inspection techniques (visual, dimensional, NDT).
Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, P & ID and technical specifications.
Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
Team-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.
