Job Description

:

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with strong exposure to gear manufacturing processes. The candidate should ensure product quality, compliance with customer requirements, and continual improvement in quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

In-process and final inspection of gears (spur, helical, bevel, etc.)

Handling customer complaints and implementing corrective & preventive actions

Root cause analysis using 7 QC tools

Preparation and review of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, Calibration and handling of measuring instruments (Gear tester, CMM, Vernier, Micrometer, Profile & Lead tester)

Coordinate with production and engineering teams for quality improvement

Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits

Maintain quality documentation and records as per standards

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of gear manufacturing & inspection

Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949

Good understanding of GD&T

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Exposure to automotive customer standards preferred

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Diploma / BE with relevant hands-on experience

Stable experience in gear or precision component manufacturing

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?45,000.00 - ?60,000.00 per month
