The role majorly co-ordinates with vendors and in house stake holder for the pre dispatch inspection process and dispatch document preparation
Critically responsible to ensure quality standards are meet for the manufactured and dispatched parts as per drawings.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Assurance and Control
Prepare Inspection plan, Control plan and Quality Documentation such as QAP
Preparation of dispatch documents such as, PDI Reports, Packaging slip, Dispatch check sheet, Ballooning drawing.
Conduct Inward Inspection, In- Process Inspection and Final Inspection as on when needed for Mechanical (Fabrication items) and Electrical item (Such control panels, Power panels- Additional support of Electrical expert will be given for this activity)

Customer & Supplier Quality
Visit and do on site Inspection of installed components and system at customer end to ensure the desired quality is achieved by the site team
Handle Customer quality complaints and prepare CAPA reports to improve the process.
Visit at Supplier end for FAT and PDI reports
Perform Supplier evaluation on quality parameters and suggestion for improvement
3. Documentation and System
Prepare Documentation for dispatched ensuring the traceability of dispatched items to handle the warranty claims and part replacement during the AMC
Maintain quality documentation for ISO 9001 audit
Lead and implement the ISO 9001:2015 in the company
Lead and handle the ISO audits and Internal audits as required
Prepare & maintain the equipment handover reports for the respective projects after the successful installation
Co-ordination with site teams to Maintaining the daily installation photographs and installation reports on the cloud and ensuring the documentation is followed as per instructions.
Critical Skill Requirements
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
Strong fundamentals in
Engineering drawing reading (Fabrication drawings, GA drawings), GD&T
Hands on Experience for using Vernier, Micrometre, DFT meter etc.
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, designers, and internal teams.
Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-specialists.
Proactive coordination and follow-up mindset.
Structured problem-solving and calm approach during trials and failures.
Comfortable working in ambiguity and early-stage development environments.
Experience & Background
4 -7 years of relevant experience in
manufacturing Industry (Heavy/Light Fabrication, Infra Projects, Automotive Indsutry)
Previous experience from Electrical panel manufacturing industry, automation industry will be added advantage
Must have knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Welding, Machining, Powder coating, galvanising and Laser cutting
Should have worked in quality department and handled the ISO Audits
Education
Bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering
Certification related to Quality Assurance and Control will be an added advantage.
