Job Summary:
We are seeking a
Quality Engineer
with a strong background in
ELV
(Extra Low Voltage) and
Mechanical Fire Protection Systems
to ensure installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in quality inspection protocols, technical standards (NBC, NFPA, IS, IEC), and documentation for systems such as
Conduct site inspections and quality checks during system installation and commissioning.
Verify installations against approved shop drawings and technical specifications.
Prepare and maintain inspection/test reports for ELV and mechanical systems.
Ensure adherence to industry codes and standards (NBC, NFPA, IS, IEC, etc.).
2. ELV Systems Oversight:
Perform quality checks for:
Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
Public Address Systems (PAS)
Water Leak Detection Systems
Smoke Aspiration Systems
Building Management Systems (IBMS)
PLC-based Automation Systems
Inspect labeling, termination, and configuration of control panels and field devices.
3. Mechanical Fire Protection Systems:
Inspect and verify installation of:
Fire Hydrant & Hose Reel Systems
Sprinkler and Pre-action Systems
Fire Suppression Systems (FM200, Novec, CO?)
Validate hydraulic calculations, equipment spacing, and component placement.
4. Documentation & Reporting:
Develop and maintain quality documentation including:
Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)
Method Statements
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Support third-party inspections and internal quality audits.
5. Coordination:
Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and statutory bodies during inspections and handovers.
Key Requirements:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum
2 years
of experience in
QA/QC
for ELV or Fire Protection systems.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Strong documentation, audit, and reporting capabilities.
Familiarity with QA/QC tools and techniques used in construction and MEP projects.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in integrated building automation and safety systems.
Knowledge of commissioning protocols and handover procedures.
Certification in
Quality Management
(ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
