Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities: - Civil (Railway Experience)

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance with established quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives. Review and evaluate product specifications, processes, and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and consistency. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and guidelines. Coordinate the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented. Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective actions. Monitor quality metrics and develop reporting systems to track performance, trends, and improvement opportunities. Lead or support the introduction of new products or processes to ensure quality standards are integrated from the start.

Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities:

Perform inspections, tests, and sampling of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met. Analyze test data, document results, and report findings to the production and engineering teams. Ensure adherence to quality specifications by using appropriate measuring instruments and methodologies. Conduct physical and mechanical testing, including visual inspections, dimensional checks, and functional tests. Monitor and inspect production processes, ensuring that they comply with quality guidelines and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials meet specifications and conduct incoming quality inspections as necessary. Maintain records of QC activities and inspections, ensuring traceability and compliance with regulatory standards. Suggest improvements to the QC process, including equipment, methods, and training to enhance product quality.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, field. Proven experience of 2 years as a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer, or in a similar role in a civil company Strong knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methodologies and tools. Proficiency in using testing equipment, inspection tools, and quality measurement systems. Good knowledge of IS codes Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment. Certification in quality management systems or quality control is a plus.
