Job Introduction The Quality Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and updating the Quality Management System with regard to Product Portfolio, Programs and Projects at the organization level . Additionally this role is responsible for ensuring quality audits according to internal and external standards such as ISO/TS 16949:2009 , ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001, ISO 26262, ISO/IEC 15504 (Automotive SPICE) etc. Major Responsibilities Ensure effectiveness in the Quality Management System across Business Units of MICB This may include documentation, maintenance and update of the QMS at organization level Ensure compliance of Quality Management System at MICB level w.r.t. internal and external standards Managing all QMS activities including the release activities of Quality Management System at Organization level Coming up with the internal and external audits schedule and calendar Scheduling the audits and ensure conducting the identified internal audits Executing the global, quality strategy and goals, in particular achievement of certified QM systems in the MICB location. Support Business divisions to achieve quality targets and ensure Lessons Learned / Best Practice w.r.t Quality topics Drive continuous improvements and stretch Quality targets across the organization Promote quality performance improvement throughout the organization. Ensure QM systems corresponds to Magna Corporate and MPT/ME Group Requirements. Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Knowledge and Education BE / MS degree in Electronics or Computer Science required. Experienced in setting up and maintaining the Quality Management System in SW / Automotive industry Work Experience Minimum of 5+ year\'s quality management experience working within the automotive electronics industry Skills and Competencies Excellent knowledge in effective quality standards within the automotive industry Knowledge of implementing and maintaining QM systems and its auditing/assessment Experience in presentation and moderation techniques Excellent knowledge in use of statistic methods and Quality Tools (e.g. SPC, 8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, FMEA & CP etc.) Comprehensive knowledge of Root cause analysis and Problem-Solving Methods (e.g. Shainin Red X Six Sigma, etc.) Awareness.
