Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Engineer to ensure that all construction projects adhere to the highest quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and collaborating with project teams to deliver excellence in construction.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure all construction work complies with project specifications, drawings, and applicable regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and checklists to uphold construction quality standards. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests to verify adherence to quality benchmarks. Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and stakeholders to promote quality practices throughout project execution. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety codes, and regulations. Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, inspection results, and test reports. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and minimize defects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques. Proficiency in quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with inspection, testing, and quality verification processes. Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, building codes, and regulations. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team environments.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in quality assurance/control within the construction industry. Certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) will be an added advantage
