Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Quality Inspection & Testing

Inspect incoming raw materials (steel sheets, chemicals, foils, adhesives, etc.) as per quality standards. Monitor in-process checks during panel foaming, cutting, lamination, and finishing. Conduct routine tests (density, compressive strength, thermal conductivity, dimensional accuracy, adhesion strength, etc.). Ensure compliance with ISO, IS, or customer-specific quality standards.

Process Control

Check panel foaming machine parameters (temperature, pressure, mixing ratio). Monitor chemical formulations and ensure correct mixing ratios of Polyol & Isocyanate. Verify lamination, cutting, and joint finishing accuracy.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports). Maintain records for traceability of batches and raw materials. Support in preparing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), WI (Work Instructions), and QC checklists.

Customer Satisfaction

Attend customer inspections (FAT - Factory Acceptance Tests). Handle complaints and coordinate with production to implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

Compliance & Safety

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS standards. Follow and enforce EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols during quality checks.

Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements to reduce rejections, wastage, and rework. Conduct training for operators and production staff on quality awareness.

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of

PUF panels, sandwich panels, insulation materials, and manufacturing processes

. Familiar with

quality control tools

(5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, 7 QC tools). Good understanding of

ISO quality systems and standards

. Strong observation, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Good communication for reporting and customer interactions.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, or Production Engineering

. Additional certification in Quality Management (ISO/Internal Auditor/Lean Six Sigma) preferred.

Experience

1-5 years in a

PUF panel / sandwich panel / insulation / building material industry

or related manufacturing field.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
