Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer III will play a critical role in ensuring our digital products are inclusive and usable for all users, including those with disabilities. This role requires a strong foundation in quality engineering, a deep understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG, and hands-on experience with both manual and automated accessibility testing tools. The Accessibility QE III will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve accessibility issues, and will help drive inclusive design practices across the organization.
What Your Impact Will Look Like:
Perform functional and automated accessibility testing across web and mobile platforms using assistive technologies such as screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
Run and interpret results from automated accessibility tools (Axe, Google Lighthouse) and integrate findings into the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and intended user experience.
Write clear, actionable bug reports and accessibility tickets.
Distinguish between WCAG violations, best practices, and usability concerns, and prioritize issues accordingly.
Suggest practical, standards-compliant solutions to accessibility issues.
Participate in design and code reviews to identify accessibility gaps early in the development cycle.
Advocate for inclusive design and help teams understand the impact of accessibility on user experience.
Mentor peers and contribute to accessibility knowledge sharing across teams.
