The Quality Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining product quality at every stage of AAC Block production, including raw material testing, in-process inspection, finished goods testing, documentation, and process improvement as per BIS / IS 2185 standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and test raw materials (fly ash/sand, lime, cement, gypsum, aluminum powder, water).
Monitor production parameters -- slurry mix, density, rising behavior, cutting accuracy, and autoclave cycle.
Conduct finished block quality tests -- dimensions, density, compressive strength, water absorption, and visual defects.
Maintain QC records, test reports, calibration logs, and inspection documentation.
Identify defects and perform root-cause analysis with CAPA implementation.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams to improve process quality.
Ensure compliance with BIS / IS standards, safety, and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech -- Civil / Mechanical / Production
2-6 years experience in AAC / concrete / building materials (preferred)
