Job Summary

The QA/QC Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with project teams to maintain quality throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Review electrical drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements Conduct inspection and quality checks for electrical installations such as: LT/HT panels, transformers, cables, cable trays, earthing, lighting, and power systems Ensure compliance with approved quality plans, IS/IEC standards, and client requirements Prepare and maintain QA/QC documents including: Inspection reports, test records, checklists, MIRs, WIRs, and NCRs Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants for inspections and approvals Witness and record electrical tests such as: Insulation resistance, continuity, earth resistance, and functional testing Identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions Monitor material quality and ensure materials used are as per approved submittals Support commissioning and handover documentation Ensure compliance with safety and statutory norms during inspections

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering 3-8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in electrical projects Experience in industrial, or EPC projects preferred

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of electrical installations and testing Good documentation and reporting skills Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC documentation.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
