A Quality Control (QC) Garment In-house Checker for finished garments is responsible for ensuring the quality of finished garments meets company standards. This includes verifying dimensions, materials, workmanship, and overall finish, and identifying and reporting any defects.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection:
Conduct thorough inspections of finished garments to ensure they meet company standards for quality, fit, and finish.
Defect Identification:
Identify and report any defects, such as incorrect stitching, fabric flaws, or fit issues.
Compliance:
Verify that all garments meet internal quality control standards and any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of quality checks and findings.
Communication:
Communicate findings to relevant teams (e.g., production, design) and coordinate on resolving quality issues.
Process Improvement:
Suggest improvements in quality control processes to enhance product consistency.
Sample Verification:
Ensure garments match approved samples and size chart specifications.
Fabric Quality Check:
Verify fabric quality, including color consistency and conformity to specifications.
Trim and Accessory Check:
Inspect trimmings, zippers, buttons, and other accessories for defects and consistency.
Sizing and Fit:
Check garment dimensions and fit to ensure they meet size chart specifications and industry standards.
