Job Description

A quality control professional in the third-party jewelry industry in Dindi is responsible for implementing and overseeing quality management systems, defining quality standards, conducting inspections and testing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client requirements before products are delivered. The role involves a thorough understanding of jewelry production, collaborating with manufacturers, managing quality documentation, and working to meet specific legal and brand quality expectations. Key Responsibilities

Quality Planning

:Establish quality goals and criteria for jewelry products, aligning them with both client needs and industry standards.

Quality Assurance

:Implement and monitor processes to ensure they consistently meet established quality standards and are followed by all involved parties.

Product Inspection & Testing

:Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials and finished jewelry pieces to identify defects, ensuring precision, material integrity, and adherence to design specifications.

Compliance & Documentation

:Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and industry regulations, such as those from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), and maintain all necessary quality documentation.

Supplier & Manufacturer Collaboration

:Work closely with designers and manufacturers to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain high standards throughout the production cycle.

Reporting

:Prepare detailed quality reports for clients, detailing findings, compliance status, and areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Experience

Expertise in Jewelry

:A strong understanding of different types of jewelry, manufacturing processes, and materials.

Quality Management

:Proficiency in quality management systems, testing methodologies, and compliance procedures.

Analytical Skills

:The ability to critically assess products and processes to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
