Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all textile products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications by performing systematic inspections and testing during different stages of production -- from raw materials to finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Inspection & Control

Conduct quality checks on raw materials, fabrics, accessories, and finished garments. Inspect products at various production stages (cutting, stitching, dyeing, finishing, packing). Identify and record non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Ensure adherence to buyer specifications, measurement charts, and approved samples.

2. Process Monitoring

Monitor production processes to maintain consistent quality standards. Work closely with production and merchandising teams to resolve quality issues promptly. Check machine settings, workmanship, and finishing quality to minimize defects. Verify shade matching, color fastness, and shrinkage levels as per standard requirements.

3. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed inspection reports, test results, and rejection summaries. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management review. Ensure traceability of materials and maintain quality control records.

4. Compliance & Standards

Ensure compliance with buyer quality guidelines and industry standards (ISO, AQL, etc.). Participate in internal and external audits related to quality and compliance. Promote continuous improvement in quality management systems.

5. Team Coordination

Train production staff and operators on quality awareness and defect prevention. Collaborate with the sampling, finishing, and packing teams to achieve zero-defect output.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of textile production processes . Knowledge of

AQL standards, ISO 9001, 5S, and lean manufacturing

principles. Keen eye for detail and ability to identify quality variations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination abilities.

Experience:

2-5 years

of experience in quality control or assurance in the textile or garment manufacturing industry.

Performance Indicators:

Reduction in defects and rework. On-time delivery of quality-approved goods. Compliance with buyer and regulatory standards. Improvement in first-pass yield and process efficiency.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
